Beginner Pottery Wheel Class 3 sessions

Service Description

We will start this 3 week series with an introduction to the pottery wheel and throwing techniques. Each of the following class will allow for students to practice techniques and build on their skill. Students will have as much clay as they need to throw each day. Last day will be glazing most of the pots you’ve created! Pottery will be kiln fired and students can return on their own, to pick up their pieces. Small class size allows each person to work at their own pace, under the instructors supervision. Class will be held in our clay area and students will be given a shelf to store their pieces during the session. Students will be given clay, tools, instruction, kiln firing of their pieces made in class and glazing at a future time. No experience is needed, but if you have prior experience, you are welcome to enroll in this session and build on your skill. NO production potters please. There will be no credit or refunds for missed class, so please make sure you can attend ALL THREE classes, when you enroll. Only registered students will be allowed to attend. Ages 16 and over only. $165 for all 3 classes, all supplies, instruction, kiln firings and glazes. Missed classes will not be allowed for make up, so please make sure you are able to attend ALL 3 classes. You will be given an opportunity to come in on one Saturday afternoons 12-5pm. Choose session start date when your enroll. This will include 3 classes on the following dates Friday evenings 6-8pm. 01/23, 01/30, & 02/06
